PAINTERS' NOTES
One of the greatest challenges of running the Painting in Spain
courses is to achieve the objectives which I set myself for the
week of the course. In simple terms these are for
students -
-
To learn new skills
-
Collect lots of information in sketch books
-
Clarify a direction in their artwork
-
Maybe produce some finished work
-
To build confidence and become more self directed
-
Enjoy themselves and leave for home enthusiastic and wanting
to do more…
This is a tall order in one week so to help achieve this I have
produced a collection of Painters notes that can be used as
reference after the painting holiday hopefully taking away the
pressure of remembering everything that is said during the week.
Based on many years experience both as an practicing artist and
as a teacher I have written notes as comprehensive and as clear
as I can on key areas. If you click on the subtitles below you
will be able to open the PDF files and print them off.
